“A person’s a person no matter how small” Remember that line repeated over and over again in the famous Dr. Seuss book
Horton Hears a Who? Although Horton’s fellow citizens ridiculed him for caring about this tiny life, not seen by others, he nevertheless loved and cared for these little ones, no matter how small.
Our parish Pro-Life Committee seeks to keep a similar, even more profound awareness in front of our fellow parishioners and our community regarding life in all of its phases:
the unborn, the disabled, the medically vulnerable, the elderly, and so on. These are the people whose lives may be ignored by our current culture.
If you care, please help with this effort. Come to our next Parish Pro-Life meeting in Fr Fisher Hall on the second Sunday of the month following the 10:30 am Mass (during Coffee Hour). Come no matter which Mass you attend. Come help to generate ideas and plan activities to encourage a “culture of life” in a time when it can be ignored and ridiculed.
